Survey: Majority of HR pros don't screen candidates online profiles

The idea that hiring managers commonly snoop on Facebook is exaggerated, says Jason Morris, president of EmployeeScreenIQ. In a recent study his company found 52% of human resource professionals said they don't screen candidates' online profiles. Of the 48% that did check candidates profiles, only 9% said they did so all the time.
