AA-US Airways merger receives green light from judge

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane has approved the merger between American Airlines and US Airways, but did not sign off on a nearly $20 million bonus to departing American CEO Tom Horton. The merger would create the world's largest airline, and the next step in the proceedings is to send the merger plan to creditors for a vote.
