Google asks nonprofit startups to pitch ideas

Google has issued a call of U.K.-based startups to submit ideas for the Global Impact Challenge, a reward program that helps fund projects that use tech innovation to tackle social issues. Google launched the program in December awarding $23 million in grants to seven organizations, including Equality Opportunity Schools, the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media and the World Wildlife Fund.
