Gyft is opening its application programming interface to the general developer community, Sarah Perez writes. The gift-card oriented app is especially looking for mobile game developers to start offering Gyft cards as rewards. "A lot of developers out there have points, rewards, and unredeemed credits, and they want to offer a way for their users to cash out those points or credits," says CEO Vinny Lingham. Already, Yappem is integrating Gyft into its social network for customer interaction with brands.
