Medicare cuts will transfer burden, Sebelius warns

Health care costs will shift to the private sector if Congress cuts Medicare to address the budget deficit, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said. Care costs for the private sector are outpacing Medicare and Medicaid's expenses. "You don't do anything about the trajectory the U.S. is on ... unless you concentrate on the underlying costs," Sebelius said.
