Minn. maker of surgical fluid disposal device gets $500K boost

A funding round has pulled in $500,000 for BioDrain Medical. The Minnesota company is the maker of the Streamway System, which is used to automate the way surgical fluids are disposed of and keep workers safe from exposure to potentially infectious substances in the operating room.
