Neb. nurses take heart disease prevention to rural farmers

Public health nurses with the Heart to Heart campaign in Nebraska are taking cardiovascular disease prevention directly to farmers by going to agricultural meetings and feed and supply stores to talk about getting tested. "We want them to be aware of their numbers, set goals and make lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of cardiovascular problems," said Sarah Reigle, a nurse with the Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department.
