Regional carrier nTelos, the first small carrier to land the iPhone, has another milestone in its sights: LTE. The telecom said Wednesday it expects to introduce 4G Long-Term Evolution service to customers in Virginia and West Virginia in 2013. The carrier also announced that it will build its network with gear from Alcent-Lucent. The CDMA operator serves a six-state territory in the mid-Atlantic and Ohio region that's home to 6 million people.
