Robotic snowplow developed by 3 Mich. engineering students

Three engineering students from Hope College in Holland, Mich., have constructed a robotic snowplow that can plow through snow on its own. The 75-pound machine, known as "Sofia," has front-end sensors that can detect when 1 or 2 inches of snow has fallen and begin plowing. The students hope to get some investors, create more robots and eventually sell them online.
