Russian health care regulatory agency gets new leader

Mikhail Murashko, health minister for the Komi Republic, has been tapped as the new head of Roszdravnadzor, Russia's health care regulatory agency, replacing Elena Telnova. His immediate challenge will be to restart comprehensive regulatory reform in response to criticisms that current delays have made registration of new medical devices almost impossible, a group says.
