Sebelius: ACA could raise health care costs for some next year

Some people with individual plans could pay higher insurance premiums as the Affordable Care Act reduces rates for older people, women and those with pre-existing medical conditions, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said. And a report from the Society of Actuaries predicts a 32% increase in the next three years for individual premiums. Better deals await those who will qualify for federal subsidies via state health care exchanges, Sebelius said.
