Target Canada's take on higher prices

Higher costs for everything from transportation, distribution and fuel to wages, taxes and duties combine to create higher prices in Canada compared to the US, Target Canada President Tony Fisher said Tuesday. Target has opened 20 stores in Ontario this month, and 44,000 Canadians have already signed up for the retailer's Red Card, which offers a 5% discount on all purchases.
