EBA says banks risk market fragmentation as they sell assets

Andrea Enria, chairman of the European Banking Authority, said the financial market could be fragmented as banks shed assets to meet tougher capital requirements under Basel III. "There is a danger that deleveraging of the EU's banking sector could leave us with a more segmented financial market," Enria said.
