Most children have one or more allergy-related diseases

At age 12, 58% of 2,916 children had developed eczema, asthma and/or rhinitis at some point, while 7.5% had at least two of these allergy-related diseases, according to a Swedish study in the journal Allergy. Researchers also found that children born to parents with a history of allergies were more at risk for allergy-related diseases, comorbidity and more persistent disease.
