Apigee wants to make app building across networks easier

Apigee has announced an API Exchange to help developers build applications for various carrier networks in the time it would take to build one app for a single network. AT&T has already signed on to the OneAPI concept and others are expected to follow, Joan Engebretson writes. The company hopes that by an easy exchange of application programming interfaces, developers will be able to crack complex and highly regulated verticals such as the health care sector and airline travel industries.
