FERC OK sought on transfer of ownership of 2 Okla. wind farms

Units of NextEra Energy Resources are seeking approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for a deal that would transfer non-controlling stakes in two wind farms in Oklahoma to BAL Investment & Advisory and other potential investors. Under the proposed deal, the investors would, in exchange for an equity contribution, acquire class B interests in Pioneer Plains Wind, which would own the Blackwell wind farm in Kay County, Okla., and the Minco III Wind Energy Center in Grady County, Okla., and related assets. Pioneer Plains Holdings would get all of the class A membership interests in Pioneer Plains Wind, becoming its managing member.
