Fonterra plans to enter Chinese infant formula market

New Zealand dairy cooperative Fonterra has plans to open a milk processing plant in China that will make its Anmum brand infant milk formula. Fonterra will begin selling the formula there this year, but the plant is not scheduled to open until 2016. The Anmum product lines will initially be sold in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
