It's official: Women make better bosses than men

Analysis by John Zenger and Joseph Folkman suggests that women are more effective leaders than men, perhaps because their strengths -- such as collaborative leadership and relationship-building -- resonate with a broader shift in corporate management styles. Women still face big challenges, including finding work-life balance, but the researchers say there's no doubt about women leaders' ability to deliver. "Don't worry. Not only can women cope; they'll do better," writes Margaret Heffernan.
