Md. respiratory device firm obtains $26.4M in financing

A funding round has pulled in $26.4 million for Vapotherm, which develops humidification devices to help treat patients with asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions. The Stevensville, Md.-based firm has 510(k) clearance for the Precision Flow Heliox system, which is intended for use in adults and premature children with infant respiratory distress syndrome.
