N.C. House OKs bill that calls for supervision of nurse anesthetists

The North Carolina House of Representatives passed on Wednesday a bill that would require formal physician supervision of nurse anesthetists. Certified registered nurse anesthetists have fought the passage of the bill, sponsored by Rep. Nelson Dollar, R-Wake, saying that it demands more oversight than what currently exists.
