Pa. school district to roll out propane autogas-fueled school buses

The Pittsburgh area's West Allegheny School District is planning to deploy school buses that run on propane autogas to replace old diesel-powered buses in its fleet. Superintendent John DiSanti said Monark Student Transportation, the district's bus service provider, will introduce two propane autogas-fueled buses into the school's fleet every year. "We will be one of the first [school districts] in the region to do this," DiSanti said.
