Pilot designs airplane, wants to revolutionize modern aviation

Pilot Dave Gevers has spent 30 years designing an airplane he calls the Genesis. His design features three revolutionary ideas, including telescopic wings that can double at the flip of a switch. The Halberd Corp. is working to produce a full-scale flying prototype. "That would be the crown of an engineering career -- to see your innovative idea that didn't catch on right away actually help mankind and have a place in history," Gevers says.
