Chinese language, culture is featured at Indiana event

Students, parents and educators from four Indiana schools attended an event to celebrate students' study of Chinese language and culture. The event featured activities to learn Chinese words and phrases, performances of traditional and popular Chinese songs and demonstrations of Chinese painting and martial arts. "This is a great opportunity to broaden our young kids' [lives] about different cultures and ways of life," one parent said.
