Minn. hospital is a test lab for health care innovation

Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minn., has made itself a testing lab for new health care innovations. CEO Bob Stevens says his philosophy is "to disrupt the status quo," so the hospital works with startups, such as the Carol.com Web site for medical care shoppers and BioDrain Medical, which developed a new way to dispose of operating room bodily fluids.
