State Farm sees imitation as way to consolidate its lead among rivals

State Farm, in its first campaign from DraftFCB, is trying to boost its industry leading share of auto insurance with copy that mimics some of its rivals' pitches. The effort references discounts and savings, like those offered by rivals such as Geico and Progressive, but also urges prospective customers to talk to their neighbors and State Farm before signing up with another insurer.
