Maryland should include nuclear in clean-energy policy

Nuclear energy should have a role in Maryland's low-carbon energy policy, which is limited to renewables, a newspaper editorial board writes. Adding nuclear energy and natural gas to the list of clean-energy sources, and increasing the mandated percentage in the state's energy supply, would benefit the state's economy in both job creation and lower rates for consumers, the board writes.
