NEC may be looking to unload its mobile-phone business

NEC reportedly is shopping around its mobile-phone business, which has been losing money for two years, and Lenovo is said to be one of the would-be buyers. "Amid the rapidly changing market we are considering a number of ways to bolster the competitiveness of our mobile phone business, but nothing has been decided," NEC said in a statement.
