NFIB urges Tennessee businesses to prepare for federal scrutiny

NFIB warned business owners in Tennessee to be prepared for inspections by the Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement division, which recently said it would look at hiring records in several states to check for illegal workers. Businesses should make sure all I-9 forms are in order and contact a lawyer immediately if they receive a notice, NFIB advised.
