Oprah's exit could be the gain for multiple syndie shows

Some station and syndication executives are disputing the conventional wisdom that Oprah Winfrey's plan to end her daytime talk show in 2011 will offer an opportunity for a single host or show to swoop and grab her viewers. The more likely scenario, given Winfrey's declining ratings in recent years, will be that stations will be able to boost their bottom lines by slotting less expensive shows and that multiple programs will be vying for her audience.
