AMA offers its first mobile coding app for providers

The American Medical Association is making its first CPT coding solution available to allow doctors to use their mobile devices to search for appropriate billing codes for patient-provider encounters. The group also kicked off the 2011 AMA App Challenge, which calls on doctors, medical students and residents to suggest ideas for innovative health applications.
