JetBlue co-pilot steered Flight 191 to safety

The co-pilot of JetBlue Flight 191 showed grace under pressure when he was able to quietly signal flight attendants who got six men to restrain the pilot who witnesses say had become unruly, this feature says. First Officer Jason Dowd, joined by an off-duty pilot, calmly performed an emergency landing in Amarillo, Texas, for the flight bound for Las Vegas. JetBlue has reminded all of its employees of counseling services and other assistance as well as offered legal assistance to the crew, including the restrained pilot, Capt. Clayton Osbon.
