RFA: U.S. must not rely on "20th-century solutions" to energy problems

The U.S. should not rely "on 20th-century energy sources to address 21st-century challenges," said Bob Dinneen, president of the Renewable Fuels Association, in reaction to President Barack Obama's announcement to expand offshore oil and natural-gas drilling. While the contributions of fossil fuels cannot be ignored, "neither can we ignore the reality that reliance on them is simply unsustainable," Dinneen added.
