U.S. firm sends giant concrete pump to aid Japanese nuclear plant

A Georgia concrete contractor is shipping a 190,000-pound concrete pump to help in the cooling and stabilization of the damaged reactors of the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan. The machine initially will be used to pour water on the reactors and later be used for concrete work. The machine features a 230-foot-long boom that can be controlled remotely.
