Microsoft wants more Windows Store apps based on jQuery 2.0

Microsoft is encouraging developers to use jQuery 2.0 and HTML5 to develop jQuery-based Windows Store applications. Microsoft Open Technologies and appendTo are working toward that end in partnership. "[T]hanks to this cooperation, the process for developing jQuery 2.0-based Windows Store applications should now be smoother, safer and more streamlined," Frederic Lardinois writes.
