The social race goes mobile

Social networks may soon eclipse other forms of digital messaging, such as e-mail and SMS, on mobile devices, according to a report by Openwave Systems that analyzed anonymous usage statistics on a major mobile data/phone network. "Social networking remains the number one area of interest to mobile Internet users with Facebook and MySpace being the top two search terms on both Google and Yahoo! OneSearch," this article points out.
