ADA collaborates on quality-improvement program

The Guidelines Advantage collaboration, composed of the American Diabetes Association, the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, is launching a quality-improvement program to encourage the use of evidence-based guidelines in patient care. The program will use data from electronic health records to compare provider performance to developed standards and benchmarks.
