Energy-wand technology gives fire a push

Scientists at Harvard succeeded in extinguishing a fire by pushing it from its fuel source using a 600-watt power source. According to Ludovico Cademartiri, lead author of the study outlining the experiment, the energy field generated by the amplifier is enough to disrupt the particle flow of the fire and set it on its new, less dangerous, course.
