Demand will outstrip initial PS4 supply, GameStop exec says

Almost 900,000 GameStop customers have signed up to get information on the expected release of Sony's PlayStation 4 console this year, according to GameStop President Tony Bartel. "Although we have been given no official numbers by Sony, we do believe that demand will far outpace the supply of this product during the launch window," he told investors. Bartel added that sales of Nintendo's Wii U have been "disappointing" in recent months.
