Educators offer insight on flipped classrooms

The flipped-classroom model shifts lectures to video that can be viewed at home, allowing classroom periods to be used for discussions, group projects and individual help. This article offers insights from teachers and librarians on how they have flipped classrooms, what tools and online resources they use and what they do during class time. "The time flies by because students are the ones leading the learning," said Chris Ming, an assistant principal who flipped his chemistry classroom.
