Ethanol-free fuel could be coming to Fla.

Fuel without ethanol could be available as soon as July 1 at gas stations in Florida if bills advancing in the state Legislature pass and are signed by Gov. Rick Scott. Ethanol can damage the small engines inside lawn mowers and other outdoor power equipment. "It does some bad things like attract moisture and causes corrosion," said Trey Trzeciak, manager of Callaway Lawn Equipment. "It damages your fuel lines, your fuel tanks if you have a metal tank, and especially your [carburetor]."
