Expert: Invest more in renewables to combat climate change

Governments should invest more in renewable energy to combat climate change and satisfy the growing demand for energy because other sources, such as nuclear power, are expensive and unreliable, said renewable-energy advocate Oliver Tickell. The world would need to build "10,000 nuclear plants" at a cost of "1 quadrillion dollars" to meet the majority of the global energy demand, he said.
