Exxon oil spill in Ark. forces some evacuations near site

An ExxonMobil oil pipeline spill in Faulkner County, Ark., prompted the evacuation of some homes near the site, and it may take days before people can return, a company executive said. "Our focus is to protect the community," said Karen Tyrone, vice president of operations for ExxonMobil Pipeline. "We have air monitoring going on seven days a week, 24 hours a day ... and to date, we have no indication that there's a health impact on the community."
