Gender pay equity worsens as salary increases, study finds

The gender pay gap tends to be larger for jobs with high average salaries, research has found. Male CEOs, for example, are paid an average of $110,344, while women in equivalent positions receive $76,128. Jobs that display the best pay equity provide an average salary of $43,293, according to the research from NerdScholar.
