Group opposing wind project takes fight to Conn. Supreme Court

A group opposing BNE Energy's proposed wind farm in Colebrook, Conn., has taken its objections to the state Supreme Court after it failed to gain favorable decisions from lower courts. The Connecticut Superior Court upheld the state Siting Council's approval of the project but the group, Fairwindct, is contesting the council's authority to rule on wind projects, saying it should not have the power to decide on such projects until the state finalizes its wind turbine rules.
