Mo. lawmakers support telehealth bill

The Missouri Senate has approved a bill that would mandate that insurance firms cover telehealth services in the state if those services are also covered for in-person doctor visits. Patients who use telemedicine would benefit from the legislation since co-pays or deductibles for those services would not be higher than for a face-to-face doctor consultation.
