Mobile app eases patients' fears before surgery

A mobile health application called TouchSurgery can help lessen patients' anxiety about undergoing surgery by allowing them to view intraoperative videos or simulations of the operations they are going to have. The app, which was featured by Dr. Nancy Snyderman in an NBC News segment, is used to demystify surgical procedures and give patients confidence.
