Oregon lawmakers should renew the Clean Fuels Program, a low-carbon fuel standard similar to one in place in California, writes Paul Koehler, vice president of corporate development at Pacific Ethanol. "Oregon's Clean Fuels Program would diversify the state's fuel mix, accelerate the production of cleaner, lower-carbon fuels in the state. ... I'm excited about a future with such a diverse fuel supply because it will lead to lower fuel prices for consumers, reduce emissions from transportation, and improve the economy for the state of Oregon," Koehler writes.
