Premium travel market growing as economy strengthens

Globally, an increasing number of airlines are offering more add-on services to fliers, and companies are paying for business fliers to have them. Last year, premium travel passenger totals went up 4.8% over 2011 figures. "Part of that is because the economy is getting stronger, and there's only so much tolerance for intercontinental flights in coach," said Ron DiLeo, AirPlus North America president and CEO.
