Selflessness makes people successful, professor says

Adam Grant, the youngest tenured professor at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, says helping colleagues is the best way to boost productivity and creativity. "I never get much done when I frame the 300 e-mails as 'answering e-mails,' " Grant said. "I have to look at it as, 'How is this task going to benefit the recipient?' "
