Student-loan perk for federal workers could end

The House has passed a budget plan that seeks to eliminate federal agencies' ability to use student-loan reimbursements as a recruitment tool. More than 10,000 federal workers received an average of $7,100 in 2011 under the program, according to the Office of Personnel Management.
